In April 2023, Laura moderated an International Stress Management Association (ISMA) Masterclasses which focused on the Power of Music to improve Well-being. As well as Laura, the panel included George Bell from ON:SONG, April Heade from Welsh National Opera, Lyz Cooper from The British Academy of Sound Therapy and Nick Woodeson from Living Balances.

Here’s Laura doing a webinar with Derek Scott from the University of Aberdeen. The aim was to support and help post-graduate students who couldn’t get to their laboratories to do the research for the PhDs. You can hear all about Laura’s approach to stress management for students in this video.

While she was working at Birmingham City University, Laura took part in a team-building day led by a Formula One team. Great fun! Good hands-on learning experience that focused on teaching of skills.
